Fashion trend always recycles itself every time and in 2015, the 1970's style is absolutely all the rage. So what is 70's fashion trend anyway? In contrast to the demure and glamorous style in the 60's, people started wearing more and more casual clothes in the 70's. Some of the most prominent trend which is iconic to this decade is the bohemian trend and the loose silhouette. This trend is perfect for people who live in super hot climate like I do as all the pieces are easy and breezy to wear.
In this post, I incorporated some of the 70's inspired trend with modern pieces to give it a more wearable and up-to-date look.
1. The Bohemian: Loose Dress and Earthy Tone Accessories

Loose Dress is one of the most popular pieces from the 70's. Top it off with a gladiator sandal which is also inspired by the Romans in the 70's. |

When creating a bohemian style, accessorizing is key. Here, I added a boat hat and statement earring to complete the boho chic style :) |
In the 70's, floral print is already very popular. However, the earthy toned color one is probably one of the most popular color during the decade.
Still keeping with the comfortable theme of the 70's trend, the wide leg trouser is also very iconic to the decade.
4. The Crochet and Lace
Lace is a fabric that was first popularized in the 70's. Back then, having tan skin was totally a thing and beauty was associated with having healthy glow and beach holiday. That said, crochet and lace fabric were worn by many models and celebrities in the era as it is directly associated with the beach wear.
I hope you enjoy this post as much as I do. And have a great week ahead.
Stay chic,
Esther
