Hi everyone,
Have you ever seen a super pretty tulle skirt and fell completely in love with it but realizing that you have no occasion to wear it? Well, today I am gonna show you three different ways to wear your princess tulle skirt without looking like a ballerina.
First off, tulle skirt is very glamourous on its own and it will instantly dress up any outfit. However, this piece can be daunting to many people as it can make you end up looking too over dressed and out of place. So the key is to incorporate this piece seamlessly.
1. Viva La Glam
For my first look, I am wearing a similar toned tank top and blush color bag and shoes. The flowy-ness of the top seamlessly blends into my big tulle skirt, making it look like a one piece dress. The top also balances out the puffiness of the skirt, creating a more effortless chic look.
I opted for blush nude heels which matches my bag to not only ties in the whole look, but also elongates my leg, making me look extra taller.
Styling Tip: wear nude heels to make you look taller
This outfit is great for a date, luxurious high tea and even for a wedding.
2. 90's Grunge is back
I always find that denim would make everything look more casual. This look is no exception. My denim button up totally transform the tulle skirt from being extra glam to casual chic.
Even when wearing the same bag and shoes as before, the outfit looks so casual. Perfect for running errand or wearing around a resort. I added a belt to eccentuate my waist line :)
Styling Tip: Wear a belt when working with bulky pieces to avoid getting swallowed
Or you can also add a beanie to make your look extra cool. This outfit reminds me of the 90's grungy trend that is so hot right now.
3. Parisian Chic
Adding a stripe top to your feminime tulle skirt will instantly transform you to Paris :D This is totally classic and beautiful. Adding accessory such as this beanie and wearing red lip will totally complete your beautiful Parisian transformartion.
I think it is amazing how a small detail and a BIG imagination will take you.
So remember, fashion is all about expressing youself, having fun and wear what makes you feel good and inspired. I hope this post has inspired you to play around with your wardrobe yet again.
Stay Chic,
Esther
